Flyboarding has come a long way from when it first started in 2012. I started www.eliteflyboarding.com in the very beginning. Just think of sports like skating and surfing and how fast they grew and the difference between the equipment the pros are using now. Already i have seen the technology of Flyboarding grow considerably. For example the new designs of the flyboard. They now have a flexible deck to give the rider control. I know from experience of flying a 2012 to flying a 2016 board. It is a world of difference. You turn with less effort do more flips and tricks the ever before. Flyboarding as a sport is growing as well there was the Amateur Event in Flyboarding which was the first of its kind. Pro Riders Ben Merrell, Callon Burns and Ronnie Feise took the podium and successfully implemented a unique and outstanding scoring system. This system was proven to be extremely successful in judging a flyers technical abilities, style, variety of trick and hose management. Several heats were ran. The Pro Amateurs’ talent was a sight to see and an affirmation of how far the sport of hydro-flight has come in such a short amount of time. The female, rookie and junior class showcased upcoming talent. The Pro Amateur top three were: 1: Rush Bunny Bragg, 2: Zoro Santiago, 3: Brandon Samuels. An awards banquet concluded the outstanding weekend with Kristen Smoyer winning the JetBlade in a raffle.

What is Flyboarding ?
Flyboarding is a rapidly growing new sport that was created by Frank zapata in 2012. It is comprised of three main parts: the board, jet ski, and fire hose. The hose connects to the back of the jet ski and transforms the power of the jet ski to give flight to the person on the board. There is one person on the jet ski for safety and provides the throttle output for the Flyboard rider. Depending on your skill level and balance you can go as high as 50 feet in the air. Do be reminded that you control how high you go, even though someone else is on the throttle. A saying you will probably here is "knees locked and toes up". If you keep your knees locked it will be a lot easier for you to start flying in the beginning. In order, to stay up you have to constantly point your toes up, but not to much because then you will go backwards. Just remember when this happens, and you can not recover. Put your hands up in the diving position and dive into the water. This will save you from belly flopping into the water. www.eliteflyboarding.com will show you the way to be a great flyer.
